Pajot Air Hammers

Before hammers appeared, section piling was done using a free-falling weight hoisted using a manual or automatic winch. The invention of the hammer was a revolution that made it possible to go much faster, and to have greater striking power, since it was provided by the thrust of air (or steam) in addition to the fall of the striking weight, which is called the double effect.

A One century vibrating story

Originally PAJOT HAMMERS were manufactured entirely ay the Pajot plants, which at the time had some 150 workers. It has been extremely successful and will soon be going worldwide, thanks to its reliability, ease of use and great effectiveness. Right now the hammer parts are machined by subcontractors, but the hammers are still assembled in-house by a team of technicians who also provide the start-up and maintenance….
